MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE
To maintain and develop partnerships within the Revenue Management stream of flydubai, by negotiating new interline agreements, applying a strong understanding of Interline Electronic Ticketing (IET) framework, devising pricing strategies for offline markets and identifying new partners in line with flydubai’s interline / codeshare vision.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages the execution of interline/codeshare agreements from the inception of identifying a partner, finalizing contract, coordinate IET testing, go-live and monitoring performance.
Collaborates closely with the internal and external stakeholders for contractual activities and provide operational support.
Monitors the performance of existing agreements to maximize revenue and perform thorough analysis during renewals.
Attends regular meetings with IT on IET implementation status, defects, cutover planning, and roadmap.
Liaises with the Management Information Systems (MIS) team to create and schedule reports to monitor partner’s contribution, market trends, potential revenue opportunities.
Collaborating closely with Pricing distribution team to complete fare filing of new interline agreement and Chart-2 updates.
Monitors and executes competitive benchmarking by analyzing market data and implement fare updates in line with flydubai revenue management principles.
Provides support on any potential technical and operational issues impacting day-to-day operations raised by reservations team and ensures corrective action are taken.
Remains with MITA, IATA updates, manuals, concurrences (where applicable). Acts as a focal participant for working groups related to internal Interline projects.
Liaises with MIS team to create and schedule reports to monitor partner’s contribution, market trends, potential revenue opportunities.
Coordinates with the Revenue Accounting team on settlement queries, billing disputes and resolve revenue discrepancies.
