  • MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE


    To support developing and managing strategic partnerships and innovation initiatives within the IT function.


    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
     

    • Assists in researching emerging technology trends and innovations within the airline industry and other sectors to identify potential opportunities for the company such as Proof of Concept (PoC).
    • Supports in building and maintaining relationships with external partners, including technology providers, start-ups, and universities.
    • Collaborates with business units, IT teams, and external vendors to support the development and execution of PoC projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
    • Facilitates activities within the airline’s innovation lab, coordinating experiments, pilot programs, and workshops designed to test new technologies and solutions.
    • Provides support in managing innovation projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time and aligned with project goals.
    • Collaborates with various internal departments to understand their technological needs and provide input on innovative solutions.
    • Assists in organizing meetings, workshops, and discussions with both internal teams and external partners to promote innovation initiatives.
    • Facilitates communications with technology vendors and support contract and partnership processes.
    • Supports the preparation of project documentation, reports, and presentations on innovation initiatives, PoC results, and partnership outcomes.
    • Collects and analyzes data to evaluate the success of innovation initiatives, including PoC outcomes, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
    • Collaborates with senior team members, internal departments, and external vendors to drive innovation projects and ensure successful exploration and implementation of cutting-edge solutions.

    Qualifications


    QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED


    Minimum Education Level 

    ·       Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)

    Education Specific Requirement (if applicable) 

    ·       Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

    Languages   

    ·       Fluent in English & Arabic


    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED


    Years with Qualifications   

    ·       0 - 2 years

    Systems Knowledge (if applicable)         

    ·       Basic understanding of IT systems and software development processes.

    ·       Familiarity with Microsoft Office and project management tools.

    ISR REQUIREMENTS

    Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
