flydubai calls motivated Emirati high school graduates to join its Aircraft Maintenance - Apprentice Engineer Programme, to acquire specialized skills under the sponsorship of flydubai Maintenance & Engineering department. With a promising career in aviation, candidates will receive the unique opportunity of becoming a certified Line Maintenance Engineer for flydubai, approved by GCAA.

The programme offers you a combination of theorical and practical training for students who have a keen interest in aviation or engineering or just love tinkering with gadgets, fixing machines and equipment – as they’re likely to have an aptitude for Maintenance & engineering.

Programme Summary:

Programme Details Our Aircraft Maintenance Engineering programme is fully sponsored and has an approximate duration of four years, consisting of two phases:

• Phase 1 Initial Training – (Two years):

  You will go through intensive theoretical and practical training. Upon successful completion, you will receive a GCAA certificate from the flydubai Training College and a certificate from GCAA, During this period, you will receive a monthly compensation of AED 6000.

• Phase 2 Practical Maintenance Experience (PME) – (Minimum Two years)

  Those who are successful in phase 1 and meet the company standards will be offered a position as an Aircraft Technician trainee at flydubai.

  You will gain practical maintenance experience working on live aircraft and record your progress in an appropriate logbook.

  Upon completing this phase, you will qualify to apply to GCAA for B1.1 Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence (AMEL) and be absorbed as a full-fledged Aircraft Technician.

Role Requirements:

• 17-24 years old
• Hold Valid UAE passport and Khulasat Al Qaid
• Educated to high school level (overall grade of 80% and above)
• Fluent in Arabic & English, both spoken and written
• EMSAT English (1100)
• EMSAT Math & Physics (75%)
• NQC 4 applied engineering stream
• National service completed (if applicable)
• Medically fit
• Proud to wear the uniform
• Able to work shifts

Ministry of Education attestation is required for all certificates
