United Arab EmiratesClosing Date: Dec 16th 2024- Administers the flydubai flight planning system, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Prepares and ensures the timely delivery of charting and relevant Navigation Database products to aircraft and flight crew, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Investigates and provides recommendations on reported navigation related issues to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
- Provides first level technical analysis and categorisation of new flydubai destinations.
- Conducts a first level route analysis as required on current and potential destinations for the flydubai fleet.
- Conducts regular analysis and review of all network airports to ensure operational efficiencies, and drafts recommendations as appropriate.
- Applies for and records scheduled and ad-hoc overflight clearances to ensure faultless delivery to relevant stakeholders.
- Updates and ensures the provision of accurate and concise information in the EFF.
- Maintains and stores the most up to date and relevant Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP) and ICAO document libraries, ensuring they are accessible to all key stakeholders.
- Holds regular discussions with relevant internal departments and external vendors to ensure accuracy and consistency of the navigation product.
- Carries out full user acceptance testing of all relevant vendor software.
- Manages the pilot/ATC familiarisation program by coordinating pilot visits to Dubai ATC and ATC familiarisation flights.
MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE
To provide technical expertise on all navigation aspects, including flight planning system administration, Electronic Flight Folder (EFF) data, aircraft navigation databases, overflight permit provision, route optimisation, and fuel conservation.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Minimum Education Level
· High School Diploma
Licenses (if applicable)
· A Flight Dispatch License is preferred
Languages
· Fluent in English (other languages an advantage)
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Years with Qualifications
· 7 - 9 years
Professional Experience
· Experience in a Navigation Services or Dispatch/Ops Control based role (airline, military, or aviation focused vendor).
· Significant flight planning experience, and knowledge of navigation databases is essential.
· AIP knowledge and understanding would be an advantage.
Systems Knowledge (if applicable)

ISR REQUIREMENTS
Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
